This year I circled back to reading, but this time it seemed different, more connected. I chose books that amplified my feelings and fed my curiosity. I closed books that just didn’t meet the mark for where I wanted my imagination to go. I enjoyed book talk conversations with moms at the gym and new acquaintances on the plane. I bought a reading light and discovered that not only did I love falling asleep to reading, but I also smiled as I woke to a book next to me. I tabbed books furthering my love for remembering book quotes. I’ve thrifted more books than I can read and been a devoted patron at the library.
I’ve read books at home, at the park, and during my travels. My books have been on the beach and in the air with the clouds. This year has been so beautiful and books have been apart of that.

I just love the way this post came together! We must do it again! I also love the book quotes you shared as well. I plan on rereading The Stories We Tell this year just to journal through some of the thoughts that came up while I was reading it the first time. I also have Kristin Hannah's book on my winter TBR.
